Network Engineer (GPON, Switches)

We have an opening for Network Engineer specialist in PON Technologu and Switching at our Mumbai- Chembur Location. Only Mumbai candidates can apply. Experience: minimum 4 years as Network engineer with hands-on experience in switch and PON configuration. Job Summary: To provide technical support to ISP, Customers, MSOs. Your activities and duties may include but not limited to: Troubleshoot and configure Optilink devices ONU, OLT, Switches and DWDM and provide corrective actions Testing of new devices which involves routing and switching hands on experience Act as technical escalation point of contact for Level 1 engineers Assist in the creation of Root Cause Analysiss (RCA), Assist in testing of new devices and networking protocols. Handle escalated and large configuration cases by visiting the customer site within Mumbai or out of Mumbai Key competencies Essential. 4 to 10 years of experience in switches (Juniper, Cisco, etc.) Good troubleshooting experience required Strong industry-based technical aptitude (e.g.TCP/IP and Application layer protocols) Good knowledge and troubleshooting experience on networking protocols (eg. SNMP, Ether channel, DNS, HSRP, Routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP etc. and switching protocols like VLAN, Trunking, STP, LACP etc.) Good knowledge of PON Technology GPON, EPON.
