Network Engineer (GPON, MPLS)

Optilink Network is an IT networking company providing solutions to Internet Service Providers. We are into Fibre Optic - GPON Technology. We have an opening for Network Engineer specialist in PON Technologu and/or MPLS at our Mumbai- Chembur Location.

Only Mumbai candidates can apply.

Experience: minimum 2 years as Network engineer with hands-on experience in routing protocol or GPON or MPLS end to end configuration.

Job Summary:

To provide technical support to ISP, Customers, MSOs.and Enterprise customers.

Your activities and duties may include but not limited to:

• Good Knowledge of Network routing Protocols, GPON and or MPLS and or DWDM.
• Troubleshoot and configure Optilink devices ONU, OLT, Switches and DWDM and provide corrective actions
• Configuration of L2VPN, L3 VPN, BGP, OSPF, ISIS
• Testing of new devices which involves routing and switching hands on experience
• Act asthe technical escalation point of contact for Level 1 engineers
• Handle escalated and large configuration cases by visiting the customer site

  within Mumbai or out of Mumbai

Key competencies

Essential.

• 2 to 10 years of experience in switches (Juniper, Cisco, etc.) Good troubleshooting experience required
• Strong industry-based technical aptitude (e.g.TCP/IP and Application layer protocols)
• Good knowledge and troubleshooting experience on networking protocols (eg. SNMP, Ether channel, DNS, HSRP, Routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP etc. and switching protocols like VLAN, Trunking, STP, LACP etc.)
• Good knowledge of PON Technology GPON, EPON.
• Good Knowledge of DWDM, MPLS

Key Qualifications

Essentials

• Bachelors Degree Or relevant experience & proficiency

• CCNA Must be Valid and also CCNP in Routing & Switching (Atleast course completed)
