Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Electronic Support Engineer

to join our team, providing technical support and ensuring smooth operations on the

shopfloor, SMT (Surface Mount Technology), and PCB Assembly lines

. The ideal candi will have hands-on experience in electronic manufacturing processes, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting production teams to maintain high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

Provide
technical support
for SMT, Through-hole, and PCB assembly lines on the shopfloor.
Troubleshoot and resolve
equipment and process-related issues
to minimize downtime.
Monitor, maintain, and support SMT machines, reflow ovens, wave soldering, and testing equipment.
Ensure adherence to
quality standards, ESD, and safety protocols
in electronic manufacturing.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support
NPI (New Product Introduction)
and continuous improvements.
Perform
root cause analysis
for failures, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Support
process documentation, work instructions, and training
for shopfloor operators.
Assist in
IT-OT integration initiatives
(automation, MES systems, data collection).

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of
SMT process, PCB assembly, and electronics manufacturing technologies
.
Hands-on experience with SMT machines (Pick & Place, AOI, SPI, Reflow, Wave soldering).
Good understanding of
shopfloor operations, lean manufacturing, and quality systems
.
Ability to troubleshoot
electronic equipment and process-related issues
effectively.
Familiarity with
IPC standards
for PCB assembly.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Education

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or related discipline.
