Job Description

As a Network Engineer at FIS, you will be part of the dynamic Network Support Services team responsible for network day-to-day changes and client delivery. You will provide centralized and standardized network services in a consistent, cost-effective, highly available manner to internal FIS teams and managed external customers. **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting routing on core and client edge devices such as Juniper MX, Cisco ASR 1K, and ISR 4K. Additionally, you will manage MACD for Network Delivery services, configure and troubleshoot firewalls (Juniper SRX, Cisco ASA), and support client migrations from legacy architecture. Your role will involve maintaining technical documentation, creating Visio diagrams for client connectivity, implementing routing and firewall rules for new client applications or branch additions, and supporting new client turn-ups. You will handle individual projects and ensure timely completion as per SLA, providing 24x7 support for network service delivery. **Key Responsibilities:** - Configure and troubleshoot routing on core and client edge devices - Manage MACD for Network Delivery services - Configure and troubleshoot firewalls - Support client migrations and end-to-end turnover activities - Maintain technical documentation and create Visio diagrams - Implement routing and firewall rules for new client applications or branch additions - Handle individual projects and ensure timely completion - Provide 24x7 support for network service delivery **Qualifications Required:** - 7 to 10 years of experience as a Network Engineer - Professional certificate such as CCNP (R&S) is a must, Juniper Routing or security certification is a plus - Solid understanding and hands-on experience of networking protocols, TCP/IP, and routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) - Knowledge of VPN tunneling protocols like IPSEC, GRE, DMVPN, and Flex VPN - Good understanding of WAN Technologies, specifically MPLS - Familiarity with Nexus platform and Load Balancer (F5, Citrix) - Proficiency in network operating systems such as Cisco IOS, JUNOS, NX-OS, IOS-XE - Experience in configuring Netflow, SNMP, and Tacacs concepts - Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently - Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a time-sensitive environment - Capability for multitasking and self-direction to meet goals - Flexibility to work in continuous night shifts or weekends as per business demands - Good communication skills At FIS, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and relevant issues in financial services and technology, alongside a talented, open, collaborative, entrepreneurial, passionate, and fun team.
