Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Network Administrator to manage and support our organization's computer networks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our network infrastructure, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), internet, and intranet systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, etc.)
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
• Administer firewalls, manage security systems, and implement network security protocols.
• Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Maintain and support remote access solutions, including VPN.
• Conduct regular system audits and maintain documentation of network configurations, systems, and procedures.
• Support and collaborate with help desk and IT support teams for issue escalation and resolution.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and security threats.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role (2–5+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.
• Familiarity with firewall management and network security protocols.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).
• Proficiency in Windows Server and/or Linux systems.
• Understanding of virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
