Job Description

Role Overview: You will be the Network Administrator III primarily based onsite at the Global Technology Centre in Pune, India. Your main responsibility will be the implementation, configuration, and support of internal and external networks and its infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, etc. You will collaborate with the Info-Security Team and Systems Administrators to ensure the performance and availability of the Global Network 24x7. Additionally, you will work closely with the Systems Administration and Applications Teams on Cloud-based Network configuration and strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Possess 5-10 years of professional IT experience supporting an enterprise network - Knowledge of networking, systems installation, and maintenance - Strong communication skills to exchange information and resolve problems with clients/users/vendors - Proficiency with Cisco routers and switches - Experience with Loadbalancers, preferably Forti-ADC - Familiarity with Cisco/Meraki wireless access points, wireless controllers, and management - Microsoft Azure Cloud Experience - Proficiency with Fortigate firewalls and products - Experience with Azure networking and cloud-related infrastructure - Thorough knowledge of routing protocols and application delivery - Experience with fibre channel is a plus - CCNA/CCNP/Azure certifications are advantageous - Ability to work independently with initiative and follow-through - Strong Interpersonal Skills Qualifications Required: - Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment - Hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls, SSL and IPSec VPN, intrusion detection systems, and two-factor authentication - Available for on-call support as required - Self-motivated, directed, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to plan and accomplish goals effectively - Familiarity with various field concepts, practices, and procedures - Strong attention to detail and follow-up Additional Company Details: The Network Administrator III will be primarily office-based at the Global Technology Centre in Pune, India, with the option to work from home. There may be occasional international travel required to work at Data Centers or corporate offices. Physical demands include attending Data Centers, which may involve international travel, as well as lifting network hardware and installing it into racks when necessary. Travel to various company locations, including international travel, may be required.,
