We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• Monitor and resolve issues on Netbackup jobs

• Perform Netbackup Agent upgrades / deployments as needed

• Participate on NetApp Storage activities, such as OntAp (Operating System) upgrades, new builds, projects and other planned operations

• Get involved and provide Regional knowledge on incidents related to NetApp Storages and Netbackup

• Document, plan and implement changes for Storage and Netbackup infrastructure

• Working as a part of regional team with local, regional and global stakeholders inside the corporation

• Build and configure Windows systems

• Change implementation – system upgrades via SCCM and automation (scripting)

• Problem Management – Identify service impacting trends and work with the development teams to implement long term solutions.

• Work through problems and issues to obtain root cause analysis

• Support planning and install of new operating system releases to maintain software currency.

• Plan and install upgrades/new software, including some local customization.

• Support planning and installation of system software patches to fix identified problems.

• Manage system & software configurations (via change control)

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Subject matter expert on NetApp appliances (FAS and AFF) including all connectivity protocols such as IP and Fiber connectivity for SAN and NAS provisioning

• Be able to provide Capacity planning for Storage Dynamic Expansion and Storage Auto-provisioning on NetApp Appliances

• Implement Patching and Vulnerability remediation updates on a storage environment

• Administer and maintain the system health of all storage systems

• Knowledge and experience in backup/restore operations with focus on NetBackup

• Configuration, management and maintenance of storage and storage replication stack

• Good understanding of Microsoft Windows environment, including Active Directory, DFS Namespace, CIFS file sharing, and windows clustering

• Advanced knowledge of file services administration and permissions management and file auditing

• Understand advances and changes in the technology industry and work directly with the vendors to assess new technologies.

• Good knowledge on installation configuration and Administration of Windows Server environment
