Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a .NET Developer at Ermin Systems. The .NET Developer will be responsible for software development, utilizing Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and other relevant programming skills to meet project requirements.

• Design, develop, and refactor

  C# code on .NET Framework 4.6-4.8.1 for both WinForms and web applications.

• Build front-end components

  using Angular, plain JavaScript/TypeScript, and Razor views, ensuring responsive, accessible UIs.

• Implement and optimize

  database structures, queries, and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server.

• Collaborate in Agile squads

  —participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups to align on priorities and deliverables.

• Diagnose and resolve

  production issues; perform root-cause analysis and deliver permanent fixes within SLA.

• Write and maintain unit/integration tests

  to ensure high code coverage and prevent regressions.

• Document architecture decisions

  and share best practices to elevate team knowledge.

• Mentor junior engineers

  by pairing, reviewing code, and modeling clean-code principles.

• (Optional) Contribute to API & modernization

  efforts—Web API/Swagger, SOAP endpoints, or MAUI pilots—as the roadmap evolves.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years professional experience

  (5 yrs preferred) developing .NET applications in C#.
• Demonstrated expertise with

  .NET Framework 4.6-4.8.1

  and

  WinForms

  .
• Proficiency with

  Angular

  (or similar),

  JavaScript/TypeScript

  , and Razor pages for web front-ends.
• Strong command of

  Microsoft SQL Server

  —schema design, query tuning, and basic administration.
• Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Clear, inclusive verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have :

• Experience creating or consuming

  RESTful Web APIs

  (ASP.NET Web API, Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Familiarity with

  SOAP services

  and

  XSLT

  transformations.
• Comfort with

  Visual Studio 2019/2022

  toolchains and extensions.
• Exposure to

  .NET MAUI

  or cross-platform UI frameworks.
• Formal training or certifications in .NET, SQL, or cloud technologies (Azure/AWS).
