About the Role

As a Nephrologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with kidney and related systemic conditions. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of kidney-related conditions, including acute and chronic kidney diseases, electrolyte imbalances, and hypertension
• Administer and oversee various dialysis modalities (hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT), and manage vascular access and its complications
• Conduct kidney biopsies, interpret imaging, lab, and biopsy results to inform treatment plans
• Prepare patients for kidney transplantation, coordinate pre‑ and post‑transplant care, including immunosuppression management
• Develop and adapt individualized treatment plans involving medications, lifestyle adjustments, dietary recommendations, and patient education
• Evaluate and manage patients during clinical rounds, serve as a consultant for internal and external healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and leverage EMR/EHR systems for effective care coordination
• .
• Engage in research, CME, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities
• Lead and mentor junior clinicians, dialysis staff, and participate in audits or performance reviews within dialysis units, if applicable
• Promote patient safety, infection control, and holistic care models in accordance with institutional and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Skills

Educational & Licensing

• Medical degree (MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent).
• Completed residency in Internal Medicine (or Pediatrics for pediatric roles) and fellowship/training in Nephrology (DM/DNB – Nephrology, ACGME-accredited fellowship)
• Board certification or eligibility in Nephrology; active medical license and relevant registration

Experience

• Clinical experience in nephrology, including dialysis, transplant care, and managing complex renal cases. Experience in leadership or training roles is a plus

Technical & Procedural Competencies

• Expertise in dialysis procedures, vascular access, biopsy techniques, and EHR systems
• Strong diagnostic and analytical capability for interpreting complex labs and imaging
• Knowledge of hypertension management, transplant immunosuppression, and renal pharmacology
