Surveying And Measurement Utilize Total Station surveying equipment to measure and record various parameters inside the tunnel, including distances, angles, elevations, and dimensions. Set up and operate surveying instruments to ensure accurate data collection. Conduct regular surveys to monitor the progress of tunnel excavation and construction. Data Analysis: Process and analyze survey data using specialized software to create detailed tunnel profiles and cross-sections. Ensure data accuracy and consistency in reports and documentation. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of survey data, measurements, and any deviations from the design specifications. Generate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly survey reports to the project management team. Coordination: Collaborate with tunnel engineers, geologists, and construction teams to provide real-time survey data for decision-making. Assist in the coordination of surveying activities with other departments to ensure seamless project progress. Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks to verify that tunnel construction aligns with design specifications and tolerances. Identify and report any discrepancies or issues promptly to the relevant stakeholders.
