Job Description

As a National Sales Head for Hygiene Care Products at our company, your role is crucial in leading and driving the sales function across India. You will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, building high-performing teams, expanding distribution networks, and achieving revenue and market share growth. This leadership position requires a combination of strategic thinking, people management, and strong industry expertise. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Strategic Sales Leadership:** - Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve business objectives. - Define sales targets, forecast revenue, and ensure the achievement of annual and quarterly sales goals. - Monitor competitor activities and market trends, recommending proactive actions. - **Team & Performance Management:** - Lead, coach, and mentor a pan-India sales team including Regional/Zonal Managers, Area Sales Managers, and Field Sales Executives. - Set KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure continuous capability development. - Build a performance-driven sales culture focused on accountability and results. - **Business Development & Key Account Management:** - Identify new market opportunities, product categories, and strategic alliances. - Drive entry into untapped geographies and B2B partnerships (e.g., hotels, hospitals, corporates). - Manage relationships with modern trade chains, pharmacies, and online marketplaces. - **Cross-functional Collaboration:** - Work closely with Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain, and Finance teams. - Provide market feedback to product and R&D teams to guide innovation and product positioning. **Skills required:** - Proven track record of driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and leading large sales teams. - Strong understanding of sales analytics and P&L management. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. **Key Competencies:** - Strategic Thinking & Execution - Leadership & Team Building - Distribution Network Management - Data-Driven Decision Making - Result-Oriented Approach - Customer-Centric Mindset - Agility & Adaptability In addition, a preferred industry background includes experience in cleaning chemical products like Bathroom cleaning, Kitchen cleaning, Health & Hygiene (e.g., Sanitizers, Wipes, Antiseptic, Disinfectants).
