Museum Guide

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and articulate Museum Guide to lead visitor engagement at the Jyotisar Kurukshetra Museum. The ideal candidate will ensure an informative, engaging, and memorable experience for all visitors, including VIP guests and dignitaries. This role also involves training and supervising a team of junior guides to maintain high standards of hospitality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct informative and engaging tours for diverse visitor groups, including domestic and international guests.
• Handle VIP visits including Chief Minister, Prime Minister, and other dignitaries, ensuring seamless coordination and professional representation.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of junior museum guides, ensuring consistent service standards.
• Collaborate with museum management to plan and execute visitor engagement activities and cultural programs.
• Maintain accurate visitor records, feedback logs, and tour schedules.
• Ensure the museum’s storytelling aligns with its cultural and historical values.
• Support daily operations, ensuring smooth visitor flow and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate in any field (background in History, Culture, Heritage, or Hospitality preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience: 3–6 years in museums, tourism, hospitality, heritage, or related sectors.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication in Hindi and English (both spoken and written).
• Strong interpersonal and public-speaking skills.
• Professional demeanor and confidence in handling high-profile guests.
• Leadership ability to guide and motivate team members.
• Availability: Full-time role, weekend working (weekly off on Monday).
• Gender Preference: Male candidates preferred for this role.
