MTO Associate

Roles & Responsibilities for MTO Associate

1. Coordination with Buying Team

- Work closely with the Buying team for all MTO (Make-to-Order) requirements.

- Coordinate on design feasibility, timelines, vendor confirmations, and pricing inputs.

- Ensure accurate information flow between buying, vendors, and internal teams.

2. Store Team Communication

- Act as the single point of contact for store teams on all MTO-related queries.

- Respond to store requests with clear product details, timelines, and feasibility status.

- Share realistic delivery estimations based on vendor and production timelines.

3. Product & Technical Details

- Provide detailed product information including:

- Jewelry metal type and approximate metal weight.

- Diamond/gemstone approximate weight and specifications.

- Design-level clarifications required for customer confirmation.

- Ensure all details shared are aligned with buying and vendor inputs.

4. Customer Commitment Support

- Support store teams in committing accurate timelines and specifications to customers.

- Highlight any risks, dependencies, or special requirements upfront to avoid escalations.

5. Data & Documentation

- Maintain proper documentation for MTO orders, including design details, estimates, and approvals.

- Update order status and relevant information in OMS or internal trackers as required.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Coordinate with supply, QC, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order flow.

- Escalate delays or discrepancies proactively with complete context.
