Job Description

Microsoft Dynamics 365 (MSD) Finance Functional Consultant responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) modules to meet client financial business needs.
The role involves analyzing requirements, configuring the system, and providing support and training to ensure effective use of D365 financial functionalities.
Business Process Analysis: Analyze client financial business processes and system requirements to identify areas for improvement and translate needs into actionable solutions.
System Configuration: Configure and customize D365 Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, and others, to align with business requirements.
Implementation and Deployment: Manage and participate in full-cycle D365 Finance implementations, including data migration, testing (unit and regression), and deployment.
Documentation: Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation, such as
Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) and Functional Design Documents (FDD), and user manuals.
Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to end-users and client teams to ensure seamless adoption and utilization of the system.
Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful integration with other enterprise systems and third-party applications (e.g., Avalara for tax compliance).
Compliance and Optimization: Ensure configurations comply with relevant financial regulations (e.g., U.S. tax requirements) and internal controls, and continuously work to optimize application performance and efficiency.
