Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Delivery Project Lead in the Software Development domain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Java, Spring Boot, and Java Microservices. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive project delivery while ensuring high-quality software solutions that meet client requirements. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely project completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage software development projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement robust Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks proactively.
- Ensure compliance with best practices in software development, including version control, testing, and documentation.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot framework.
- Solid understanding of Java Microservices architecture and design principles.
- Proficient in RESTful API development and integration.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular or React.
- Understanding of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Java or software development methodologies are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage software development teams effectively.
