Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performing Drupal front-end themes.
Work closely with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into functional and pixel-perfect Drupal pages.
Implement and extend Drupals theme layer (Twig templates, preprocess functions, libraries).
Customize front-end behavior using JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and/or modern frameworks.
Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end with custom modules and APIs.
Guide and mentor junior front-end developers on Drupal best practices.
Contribute to front-end technical documentation and coding standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5–9+ years of overall front-end development experience, with at least 3 years in Drupal 8/9/10 theming.
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery.
Deep understanding of Drupal’s theme system, Twig templates, and libraries.
Experience creating and customizing Drupal sub-themes and base themes (e.g., Classy, Stable, Barrio).
Familiarity with front-end build tools (Gulp, Webpack, npm/Yarn).
Knowledge of Drupal’s Layout Builder, Paragraphs, and Configuration Management.
Strong grasp of accessibility standards, SEO best practices, and performance optimization.
Comfortable working with Git and Agile/Scrum workflows.
