Kherwadi Social Welfare Association (KSWA) is an NGO founded in 1928. Its flagship movement, Yuva Parivartan (YP), was launched in 1998 to provide a second chance to deprived youth and empower women through livelihood opportunities. Over the last 25 years, YP has improved the employability of more than 1 million individuals through skilling courses. These courses are tailored to practical training and support earning livelihoods, with durations ranging from 15 to 90 days. YP's extensive network and digital reach enable widespread mobilization of students for wage or self-employment.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mobiliser located in New Delhi. The Mobiliser will engage with communities to promote and enroll participants in YP’s skilling programs. Responsibilities include identifying potential beneficiaries, conducting outreach activities, collaborating with local leaders and organizations, providing guidance and support to participants, and ensuring high attendance and retention rates in the programs. The Mobiliser will also track and report on program performance and participant progress.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in community outreach and engagement
• Ability to work collaboratively with local leaders and organizations
• Strong organizational and reporting skills
• Knowledge of local languages and cultures
• Passion for social work and community development
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, or related field
• Experience in the NGO sector is a plus
