Mobile Device Management (AirWatch /JAMF)

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Administration:

  Deploying, configuring, and maintaining AirWatch (for Android) and JAMF (for Apple devices) to manage corporate mobile devices.

• Device Enrollment & Configuration:

  Enrolling macOS devices into the AirWatch/Workspace ONE UEM environment and configuring device-level restrictions, Wi-Fi, and VPN settings using profiles. Integrate with Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Android Enterprise to automate device enrollment, streamlining the process for new devices.

• Policy & Configuration:

  Defining and enforcing security policies, including device encryption, password complexity, secure connectivity, and app restrictions.

• User & Device Enrollment:

  Building and managing secure device enrollment processes, both bulk and self-service.

• App Management:

  Overseeing app deployments and managing corporate apps on managed devices. Distributing, monitoring, and updating both in-house and third-party applications and web clips on macOS devices, including managing VPP licenses

• Technical Support:

  Providing Tier 2/3 technical support for mobile device and MDM platform issues and escalations.

• Compliance & Security:

  Ensuring devices and applications comply with corporate security standards and policies.

• Performance & Monitoring:

  Monitoring platform performance and system health to ensure optimal operation.

• Integration:

  Integrating the MDM platform with other IT systems, such as (Azure AD) for access controls.

• Documentation & Training:

  Creating technical documentation and providing training for IT staff and end users.

Required Skills & Experience:

• MDM Expertise:

  Required excellent skill in AirWatch and/or JAMF administration and configuration.

• Technical Skills:

  Strong understanding of mobile device management principles, security, and compliance.

• Troubleshooting:

  Excellent logical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Communication:

  Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with IT and end-users.

• Platform Knowledge:

  Specific knowledge of Android Enterprise for AirWatch and native Apple features for JAMF.
