Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India Role Description FITISTAN is seeking a passionate and skilled Mobile App Developer to design, build, and maintain our cross-platform mobile application for Android and iOS. You will play a critical role in delivering a seamless and engaging fitness experience to our rapidly growing community. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mobile app development frameworks, excellent UI/UX sensibilities, and a proactive approach to innovation and problem-solving. Your contribution will directly influence the evolution of our app and the overall customer journey. Qualifications: Mobile App Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and implement robust mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms. Ensure seamless integration of Firebase and other backend services for enhanced app functionality, real-time updates, and improved user experience. Develop applications using Ionic + React to align with and support our existing infrastructure. Frameworks and Technology Utilization: Utilize cross-platform development frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, and Ionic + React to ensure efficient and scalable app development. Leverage new and emerging technologies to enhance mobile app performance and features. User Interface and Experience Enhancement: Apply strong UI/UX design principles to create intuitive, visually appealing, and highly functional app interfaces. Collaborate with the design and product teams to translate business and user needs into smooth and impactful mobile experiences. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing of mobile applications to ensure high performance, responsiveness, and overall stability across all devices and operating systems. Identify bugs and performance issues early and implement effective solutions. Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in mobile app development and the broader tech landscape. Actively contribute ideas and technical solutions to enhance app features based on user feedback and product roadmap priorities. Code Quality and Documentation: Produce well-structured, maintainable, and scalable code that adheres to industry standards. Create and maintain detailed documentation to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing across teams. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in mobile application development for Android and/or iOS platforms. Proven experience working with React Native , and/or Flutter frameworks. Previous experience integrating apps with Firebase and other third-party services. Technical Skills: Proficient understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices and ability to deliver visually polished and highly usable applications. Strong command over mobile development environments, APIs, and version control systems. Professional Competencies: Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on efficient debugging and optimizing app performance. Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Bonus Skills: Experience with animations, transitions, and delivering polished app interactions. Exposure to building apps with offline-first strategies and optimizing for low network conditions. Familiarity with App Store/Play Store deployment processes and compliance requirements.
