Mobile App Developer

Role: Cross-Platform Mobile App Developer (React Native & Ionic)

Experience Level: 3–5+ years preferred

1. Project Background

We are developing and maintaining mobile applications that need to run seamlessly on both iOS and Android. The developer will be responsible for building new features, optimizing performance, and ensuring smooth user experience across devices using React Native and Ionic (v3 and above) frameworks.

2. Responsibilities

The developer will be responsible for:

• Mobile App Development
• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native and Ionic.
• Build cross-platform UI/UX with responsiveness and accessibility in mind.
• Work with Cordova plugins and native modules.
• Ensure apps meet App Store and Google Play guidelines.
• Integration & APIs
• Integrate REST APIs securely.
• Work with push notifications, real-time communication (WebSockets), and offline storage.
• Performance & Security
• Optimize apps for performance, memory management, and battery efficiency.
• Implement secure storage and data encryption where needed.
• Debug and fix cross-platform compatibility issues.
• Testing & Deployment
• Write unit tests and end-to-end tests (Jest, Detox, Jasmine/Karma).
• Publish and manage apps on App Store and Google Play Store.

3. Required Skills Core Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in React Native (Hooks, Context API, Redux).
• Strong knowledge of Ionic 3+, Angular (for Ionic), and Cordova.
• Familiar with native iOS/Android development concepts (Objective-C/Swift/Java/Kotlin basics).
• Experience with mobile UI libraries (Material UI, Tailwind for RN, Ionic UI components).

4. Preferred Experience

• Past experience in publishing apps to App Store and Google Play.
• Knowledge of lifecycle management of Ionic apps (Ionic 3/4 migration experience is a plus).
• Experience in native plugin development for React Native or Ionic.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in mobile environments.
• Experience working with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a bonus.

5. Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to independently manage tasks and deliver on deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, UI/UX, and usability.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and frameworks.

6. Deliverables / Expectations

• Develop cross-platform mobile applications with production-ready quality.
• Ensure apps are performant, scalable, and maintainable.
• Provide clear documentation of code, APIs, and deployment steps.
• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and QA teams.
• Regular status updates and participation in sprint reviews.

7. Tools & Technology Stack

• React Native (latest stable)
• Ionic 3+ with Angular
• Cordova plugins
• Firebase, AWS, or Azure for cloud integration
• Git + CI/CD pipelines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
