Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Responsibilities
  • Strategy and Roadmap: Define, prioritize, and drive the strategic roadmap for MR products and experiences based on business objectives, market research, and customer insights.
  • Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, development, and execution of MR projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to align on goals, manage expectations, and communicate project status, risks, and timelines.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and serve as a subject matter expert on MR technology, including AR and VR environments, development tools (Unity, Unreal Engine), and hardware platforms (HoloLens, XReal, etc...).
  • Resource Allocation: Manage project resources efficiently, including budgets, timelines, and personnel, to ensure the successful delivery of products and features.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and productive environment for engineers, artists, designers, and other technical staff to create innovative and engaging experiences.
  • Market Analysis: Stay current with emerging MR technologies, products, and industry trends to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Performance Tracking: Define and analyze key metrics to measure the success and impact of MR experiences and iterate based on performance data.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product or program management within the software industry, with 2+ years of experience focused specifically on AR, VR, or computer vision.
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience with MR software development, architecture, and design. Strong knowledge of Unity or Unreal Engine is highly valued.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated people management experience, with the ability to lead and mentor technical teams in delivering complex products.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex contexts into actionable strategies.
