Senior GenAI / LLM Engineer (Python)

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy GenAI and LLM-based applications
• Build agentic AI workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Google ADK
• Develop scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using embeddings and vector databases
• Work with Google Vertex AI for model deployment, inference, and orchestration
• Integrate LLMs with enterprise systems using APIs and tools
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them using Kubernetes
• Optimize AI systems for performance, latency, scalability, and cost
• Collaborate with product, data, and cloud teams on solution design
• Participate in architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers

Required Skills and ExperienceProgramming and Backend

• Strong proficiency in Python (mandatory)
• Experience with FastAPI
• Working knowledge of Go, TypeScript, or JavaScript (good to have)

GenAI and LLM Technologies

• Hands-on experience building GenAI or LLM-based applications
• Experience with LLMs such as GPT, Gemini, Claude, or open-source models
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering and LLM evaluation
• Experience implementing RAG architectures
• Knowledge of agent-based systems, tools, MCPs, and workflows

Frameworks and Platforms

• Experience with LangChain and LangGraph
• Experience with Google ADK or similar agentic frameworks
• Strong experience with Google Vertex AI (mandatory)
• Exposure to Azure AI is optional

Tools and Deployment

• Experience using Jupyter Notebooks for experimentation
• Familiarity with ChatGPT Playground or Google AI Studio
• Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have

• Experience with SQL and data analysis
• Exposure to vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, or Weaviate
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Understanding of enterprise security and compliance requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience working on real-world, production-grade GenAI solutions
