1. Supervisory role Oversee, schedule and arrange crew work on a daily basis, cooperating with other team and crew members as necessary Review all project activities, work equipment and sites every day to make sure everything is performed to company standards as well as to the latest regulations and standards Locate, calculate and designate job site locations as well as equipment and job site structure locations as needed Work with other necessary personnel and supervisors to ensure all site and crew activities are in sync Delegate jobs to crew members as determined by their capabilities and the general requirements of specific work projects and site parameters Meet with other managers/supervisors and necessary personnel as required in order to fully resolve conflicts, complications and other issues according to company and client standards/requirements Engage in open communication with Project Manager, and report any issues which could affect the project plan Ensure raw material and equipment used comply to contract specifications Identify and execute best practices concerning the efficient use of construction material Plan work in an efficient and effective order, maximizing progress in a safe and timely manner Ensure company equipment is lawfully operated, cared for, maintained and used effectively Ensure availability of blasted limestone in the mine faces Ensure that limestone extracted meets the quality standards Promote, execute and adhere to the companys safety program, and encourage all employees, sub-contractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture. Conduct daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections Review safe work plans/hazard assessments with crew prior to job commencement. Work with Safety Lead to investigate damage, incidents or near misses in the worksite, and ensure proper procedures are carried out according to the Companys EHS policy Take initiatives to drive growth for DCBL and ensure sustained growth in line with long-term and short-term objectives of the organization Ensure initiation and sensitization of the employees towards digitization and automation of the processes Focus on utilization of advanced business analytics tools to derive key insights critical for the success of the organization 2. Self/ Team Development Review and monitor performance of team members and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs Recommend training as required for teams development Develop the team and update their knowledge base to cater the organization need Strategize avenues for enhancing employee satisfaction in the function, resulting in high engagement levels of employees
