Responsibilities
As a Middleware Engineer you will be in charge of the following activities :
- Provisioning of servers using Ansible / Terraform
- Deployment of applications using Ansible
- Implementation of Monitoring
- Documentation
- Troubleshooting
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or computer engineering
- At least 5+ years of experience in IT landscape
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with WebSphere/Tomcat /Apache
- At least 1+ years of experience with Kubernetes
- At least 1+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible or terraform
- At least 1+ years of hands-on experience with a Cloud provider (IBM/AWS/Azure/Google)
Mandatory
- Strong background in Linux / Unix/ Windows Administration
- Strong critical thinking
- Good knowledge of onboarding & troubleshooting applications on Kubernetes
- Good knowledge in any one scripting language (Python and/or Bash preferred)
- Good Knowledge in deployment automation tools (Ansible or equivalent)
- Good Expertise on IBM WebSphere v8 or Tomcat v8.5 and Apache v2.4
- Good Expertise on IBM sFTP,CFT or equivalent
- Basic Experience in DB Administration (Oracle, MS SQL, Mongo DB)
Good to have
- Knowledge on Job Scheduling Tools (Autosys or equivalent)
- IBM MQ V7/V8 Administration
