Job Title: Mid Accountant

Department: Accounts & Finance

Location: Alipurduar

Experience Required: above 5yrs
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA in Finance / CA Inter or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

• General Accounting:
• Maintain day-to-day accounting records (Journal, Ledger, Trial Balance).
• Record all financial transactions accurately and timely.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable:
• Manage vendor payments and customer invoicing.
• Reconcile outstanding balances and follow up on receivables.
• GST & Taxation:
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
• Assist with TDS deduction and return filing.
• Support with audits and tax assessments.
• Bank & Cash Management:
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow and petty cash handling.
• MIS & Reporting:
• Generate monthly MIS reports for management review.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Audit & Compliance:
• Support statutory and internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Skills Required:

• Tally ERP / Zoho / QuickBooks / SAP (as per company preference)
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian taxation
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Good communication & time management

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
