Here is the JD Dynamics GP Techno-Functional Consultant — Technical-Focused Summary

  • Design, configure, and optimize Dynamics GP modules with a strong focus on Financials, Inventory, and Distribution.
  • Develop and customize GP using Dexterity, Visual Studio Tools, and C#/.NET extensions.
  • Build and maintain integrations with external systems using eConnect, Integration Manager, Web Services, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Perform database administration tasks including T-SQL scripting, stored procedures, performance tuning, and data validation in SQL Server.
  • Create and enhance reports using SSRS, SmartList Builder, and Power BI for advanced analytics.
  • Lead upgrade and migration efforts including data conversion, schema validation, and ISV compatibility testing.
  • Troubleshoot complex GP issues across application, database, and interface layers using diagnostic tools and logs.
  • Implement role-based security models, D365 authentication bridges (if applicable), and compliance controls.
  • Manage deployment pipelines, version control, and change management documentation.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams on server configuration, GP client deployments, and cloud/hosted environment support.
