Job Description

Previous experience working with sealed quench furnaces and heat treatment processes
Strong knowledge of metallurgical principles and heat treatment techniques
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

Additional Tasks:

Conducting metallurgical analysis to understand the microstructure of low carbon steel components.
Collaborating with the manufacturing and quality teams to ensure that heat treatment processes meet or exceed industry and customer standards.
Investigating and troubleshooting any heat treatment-related issues that arise during production.
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of heat treatment processes.
Provide technical expertise and support in the selection of heat treatment parameters, including heating and cooling rates, temperature ranges, and quenching media.
