Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled MERN Stack Developer with strong SQL expertise and solid manual testing knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for full-stack development, database handling, and ensuring application quality through effective testing.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js (MERN stack).
Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.
Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting, data validation, and integrations.
Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and document defects.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams.
Follow best coding practices, security standards, and performance optimization techniques.
Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
Strong SQL knowledge (MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL Server).
Good understanding of manual testing concepts, SDLC & STLC.
Experience in writing test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
Knowledge of Git version control.
Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

Bachelor's (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
