MERN Stack Developer

Marko & Brando, a Kolkata-based full-service Technology and Digital Marketing Agency, is seeking a talented MERN Stack Developer to join our innovative Web and App Development Team. As a key player in our dynamic work environment, you will be responsible for backend development, DevOps, and AWS management to create cutting-edge digital solutions. In this role, you will be tasked with building and maintaining scalable Node.js applications and RESTful APIs, designing microservices architecture, and ensuring the highest standards of code quality and performance. Your expertise in backend technologies, DevOps practices, and AWS services will be crucial in architecting and optimizing scalable applications while ensuring smooth CI/CD pipelines and cloud management. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain scalable Node.js applications and RESTful APIs - Design and optimize microservices architecture - Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices - Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment - Monitor and optimize AWS infrastructure - Conduct code reviews and optimization - Collaborate with front-end developers and designers Required Skills & Experience: - Minimum 2 years of experience in Node.js, Express.js, and API development - Strong understanding of AWS services and DevOps best practices - Expertise in MongoDB and SQL databases - Experience in building microservices and scalable APIs - Proficiency in Git, JIRA/Zoho, and Agile methodologies - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines - Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities Nice to Have: - Experience with Next.js and WebSockets - Familiarity with message queues like Kafka and RabbitMQ - Knowledge of Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure automation This full-time position offers benefits such as Paid Sick Time, Paid Time Off, and a dynamic, growth-driven work culture.
