Job Title: Manual Tester (1 Year Experience) Location: Remote Department: Mobile App Development Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with 1 year of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the software testing lifecycle (STLC), test case creation, execution, and defect reporting. You will work closely with developers and project managers to ensure product quality across web and mobile applications. Key Responsibilities Review and analyze system specifications and requirements. Design, write, and execute detailed test cases , test scenarios , and test plans . Identify, record, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA , Bugzilla , or similar). Perform functional , regression , smoke , and UI/UX testing for web and mobile applications. Collaborate with developers to understand issues and verify bug fixes. Participate in QA reviews, sprint meetings, and project discussions. Ensure the product meets quality standards before release. Provide clear documentation and maintain testing reports. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 1 year of experience in manual software testing . Strong understanding of STLC , SDLC , and defect life cycle . Experience in writing test cases and scenarios. Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman preferred) is a plus. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies . Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. Exposure to mobile app testing (Android/iOS) . Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation. Understanding of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.) — optional but a plus.
