MERN Stack Developer Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and motivated MERN Stack Intern who has a strong foundation in modern web technologies. The intern will work closely with our development team to design, build, and optimize web applications using Next.js, Tailwind CSS, NestJS, and MySQL. This internship offers a great opportunity to gain practical experience in full-stack development and learn industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing responsive front-end applications using Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
• Contribute to building scalable back-end services and APIs using NestJS.
• Work with MySQL databases for schema design, queries, and data optimization.
• Collaborate with the team on integrating front-end and back-end systems.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing.
• Research and apply best practices in modern MERN stack development.
• Support in documentation and deployment of applications.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Basic understanding of MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
• Hands-on experience with Next.js for server-side rendering and routing.
• Strong knowledge of Tailwind CSS for building modern UI.
• Familiarity with NestJS for backend application development.
• Knowledge of MySQL and basic database concepts (CRUD operations, joins, indexing).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and client-server architecture.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Previous internship or project experience in web development is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and version control workflows.
