Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Sampling & Development Assist in developing Proto, Fit, Size Set, and Pre-Production samples as per buyer requirements. Coordinate with sampling, design, and technical teams to ensure timely submission. Send samples to buyers and follow up for approvals. Arrange for lab dips, embroidery, and print strike-offs for buyer comments. Order Follow-up & Documentation Receive tech packs and prepare BOMs (Bill of Materials) and order sheets. Help in creating costing sheets under the guidance of merchandising Managers. Maintain order files and track buyer approvals at each stage. Material Coordination Assist in sourcing trims and fabrics for sampling and bulk production. Follow up with suppliers for timely in-house of materials. Update Time & Action (T&A) chart and share status with senior team members. Production Support Participate in Pre-Production (PP) meetings to understand production requirements. Track production progress and inform the team of any delays or issues. Coordinate with QA and production teams to support quality inspections. Shipment Coordination Support in booking shipments and preparing packing lists and labels. Ensure sample submissions (PP/GS) are approved before bulk shipment. Help with logistics follow-up and customer communication as required. Communication & Reporting Maintain regular communication with internal teams and suppliers. Update internal systems with approvals, delivery dates, and order progress. Assist senior merchandisers with reports, buyer meetings, and documentation. Key Skills Required: Basic knowledge of garment construction and trims Good communication and follow-up skills Familiarity with Excel and merchandising formats (T&A chart, BOM, cost sheet) Attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to multitask and work under guidance Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Yearly bonus Ability to commute/relocate: Karur, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: total work: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 21/06/2025
