Production Merchandiser

Role & responsibilities

1.

• Manage international export orders from Projection / Purchase Order receipt to delivery from plant
• Liaise with marketing to understand their product specifications, requirements, and delivery schedules
• Prepare Mat codes for entire chain of production, MRP Run, SO closing, Inventory mapping
• Coordinate with the production teams to ensure the product meets client specifications

2.

• Support marketing team for plant level coordination for any new color / design development
• Oversee the creation and approval of samples before finalizing bulk production

3.

• Coordinate with the Production and Quality Control department to ensure that all products meet buyer specifications and protocols
• Resolve any quality-related issues and implement corrective actions where necessary

4.

• Work closely with the marketing team to provide necessary documents for shipment booking
• Prepare necessary inspection request and quality confirmation for goods movement from factory

Skills & Attributes required:

1.

• Strong knowledge of textile products, fabric types, and production processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software tools

2.

• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality of work assigned
• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenges effectively
• Ability to work with ease to meet deadlines

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Timeliness of order processing at each level of execution
• Product delivery performance (On Time In Full %)
• Inventory control of accounts handling

Additional Information:

• This role may require occasional travel to vendors ,in house factories in Vapi & Kolhapur.
• The Production Merchandiser will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team, and will play a key role in executing all accounts allocated
