Merchandiser

Profile Summary

We are seeking a Merchandiser to lead the partnerships, collaboration and category management with leading fashion and lifestyle brands. You will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing partnerships with apparel, footwear, and accessory brands, ensuring an optimal product assortment that meets market demand and enhances the Khushnuma brand experience.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

● Identify and onboard fashion, footwear, and lifestyle brands suitable for Khushnuma Sales’ retail positioning.

● Build and nurture long-term relationships with partner brands, distributors, and vendors. ● Negotiate commercial agreements, trade terms, margins, and annual business plans.

● Ensure brand alignment, visual guidelines, and product availability across store categories.

● Plan seasonal assortments for men, women, and kids categories (apparel, footwear, accessories).

● Forecast category demand, optimize inventory levels, and analyze sales performance.

● Identify product gaps and introduce new categories or sub-brands based on trends and market insights.

● Collaborate with visual merchandising and marketing teams to execute seasonal campaigns.

● Track competitor strategies, pricing, and category performance to maintain market competitiveness.

● Explore emerging brands and exclusive tie-ups to enhance Khushnuma’s in-store offerings.

● Analyze consumer preferences, regional trends, and performance data to guide sourcing decisions.

● Work closely with finance and supply chain teams to manage procurement budgets and vendor payments.

Knowledge Skills

● Education: Master’s in Business, Retail Management or related field.

● Experience: Proven experience in retail buying, merchandising management.

● Good understanding of fashion trends, customer preferences, and category planning

● Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills

● Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

● Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and follow-through.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
