MEP/Civil/Interior Engineer

Urgently Hiring Job Title: Site Engineer – MEP / Civil / Interior Experience Required: 2–4 Years Location: Chennai, Tamilnadu Company: MultiTech Corporation (25 Years of Excellence in Construction & Interiors ) Multi Tech Corporation is a reputed construction and contracting firm with over 25 years of experience in executing civil, interior, and MEP projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Site Engineer who can take ownership of on-site execution, coordination, and quality control. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Execution Supervise day-to-day site activities for civil, interior, and MEP works as per approved drawings and specifications. Ensure quality workmanship, correct sequence of work, and adherence to safety standards. Monitor subcontractor performance and workforce productivity. 2. Coordination Coordinate with consultants, architects, vendors, and internal teams for smooth workflow. Liaise between civil, interior, and MEP teams to resolve site-level conflicts and ensure integrated execution. Attend coordination and progress meetings. 3. Quality Control & Documentation Conduct inspections and ensure work conforms to drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Maintain daily site reports, material consumption records, and photo documentation. Prepare and submit checklists, snag lists, and as-built documentation. 4. Planning & Reporting Track progress against project schedule and highlight delays or resource shortages. Raise material and manpower requirements proactively. Support Project Engineer / Manager in progress billing and client updates. 5. Material & Vendor Management Verify material quality, measurements, and deliveries on site. Ensure proper storage, handling, and usage of materials to minimize wastage. Assist in evaluating vendor performance and BOQ quantity verification. Qualifications & Skills Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Interior Engineering. 2–4 years of hands-on experience in site execution of interior fit-outs, civil finishing, or MEP installations. Strong understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and on-site problem-solving. Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project reporting tools. Ability to coordinate across multiple trades and meet timelines. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Timely execution of assigned works as per schedule. Quality compliance and minimal rework. Coordination effectiveness across civil, MEP, and interior teams. Accuracy and completeness of site reports and documentation.
