MEP Tendering and Estimation Manager

Job Title: Billing, Estimation & Design Manager Location: Hebbal, Bengaluru Department: Engineering Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/EEE Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to manage the cost estimation, client billing, and design coordination processes across our projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in project costing, BOQ preparation, client/vendor billing, and design management, with a solid understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Costing & Estimation Prepare detailed cost estimates for ongoing and upcoming projects. Develop and maintain Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and rate analysis. Coordinate with the procurement team to track material costs. Track budget vs actual project costs and flag deviations. Billing Prepare and verify client and subcontractor bills in compliance with contract terms. Ensure timely submission and certification of bills. Coordinate with the finance team for billing-related documentation and follow- up. Handle reconciliation of contractor and client accounts. Design Management Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for design finalization. Review and approve design drawings in line with project requirements. Ensure design compliance with safety, quality, and legal standards. Facilitate value engineering to optimize design efficiency and cost- effectiveness. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for costing, billing, and design revisions. Generate periodic reports for management review. Support internal and external audits related to cost and billing. Key Skills Required: Strong understanding of cost estimation and project budgeting. Expertise in billing procedures, taxation (GST), and contractual terms. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, ERP systems, and project management tools. Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
