MEP Engineer

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works for villa construction. The role includes coordination with architects, civil teams, contractors, ensure timely and quality completion of MEP installations as per approved drawings and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning & Coordination

• Review and understand approved architectural and MEP drawings.
• Coordinate with civil and architectural teams to avoid clashes during execution.
• Prepare work schedules and plan daily/weekly MEP activities.
• Conduct site meetings with contractors and consultants.

2. Execution & Supervision

• Supervise installation of electrical systems, plumbing networks, HVAC units, fire-fighting systems, and other MEP services.
• Ensure materials used are as per specifications and approved vendor lists.
• Verify that all works are executed as per drawings, standards, and safety protocols.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to timelines.

3. Quality Control & Compliance

• Conduct regular inspections and ensure quality workmanship.
• Identify and resolve site issues related to MEP services.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Prepare snag lists and ensure rectification prior to handover.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily progress reports for MEP works.
• Record material consumption and ensure proper inventory management.
• Assist in preparing BOQs and material requisitions.
• Support project manager with necessary documentation for approvals and inspections.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.

Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience in MEP works, preferably in villa or residential construction.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction drawings.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage contractors.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of safety standards and building regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
