Job Description

Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Fighting) works for residential and commercial projects Analyze architectural and engineering drawings, project specifications, and technical documentation Prepare and validate BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on design and site requirements Coordinate with the design, procurement, and execution teams for inputs and clarifications Obtain and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations to compare costs and specifications Maintain and update rate analysis databases and estimation templates Provide support in tender evaluations, cost comparisons, and budget reviews Assist in value engineering exercises and suggest cost-effective MEP solutions Prepare estimation reports and presentations for management review Ensure all estimates are aligned with project budgets, timelines, and technical standards Preferred candidate profile Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field 3 - 6 years of relevant experience in MEP estimation in the real estate or construction industry Proficiency in reading MEP drawings and preparing quantity take-offs Familiarity with estimation tools (e.g., Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, CostX, etc.) Strong understanding of MEP systems, specifications, and construction practices Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills Strong coordination and communication abilities
