MEP Intern

Job Role: MEP Intern / Assistant to MEP Project Manager

*Location: Westin Hotel Project, Jaipur

*Stipend: 12,000 - 15,000 per month

*Internship Duration: 1 Year

*Future Opportunity: Based on performance, the candidate may be offered a permanent position after internship.

Job Objective

To assist the MEP Project Manager in day-to-day site coordination, documentation, quality monitoring, and execution support for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire-Fighting works in a Five-Star Hotel Project.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Coordination

* Assist the MEP Manager in monitoring daily activities for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire-Fighting works.

* Ensure work is progressing as per approved drawings and specifications.

* Coordinate with contractors, site supervisors, and other project teams.

2. Drawing & Documentation Support

* Review and understand working drawings, coordination drawings, and shop drawings.

* Assist in preparing daily site reports, measurements, and documentation.

* Maintain records of material deliveries, work progress, and inspection reports.

3. Quality & Technical Support

* Check installation quality (ducting, cabling, pipework, supports, etc.) as directed.

* Report discrepancies or clashes between MEP and civil works.

* Support testing and commissioning activities whenever required.

4. Safety Compliance

* Ensure all contractors and workers follow safety protocols.

* Report unsafe practices immediately to the MEP Manager.

5. Coordination Between Services

* Assist in resolving on-site coordination issues between MEP disciplines and civil/interior teams.

* Highlight service clashes (duct vs cable tray, pipe vs false ceiling, etc.) to the MEP Manager.

6. Billing & Measurement Support (Basic)

* Support in taking measurements of executed work for contractor billing.

* Assist in maintaining BOQ updates.

Skills Required

* Basic understanding of MEP services (HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing/Fire-Fighting).

* Ability to read drawings (AutoCAD knowledge is preferred).

* Good communication and reporting skills.

* Strong learning attitude and willingness to work on site.

Educational Qualification

* Diploma / B.Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, MEP specialization preferred).

* Freshers or final-year students may apply.

Working Condition

* Full-time on-site role at the *Westin Jaipur Project*.

* MondaySaturday site presence (timings as per project schedule).
