Job Title: MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Engineer

Location: Sector -70 Gurugram, Haryana.
Experience Required: 4–8 Years
Salary Range: ₹40,000 to ₹75,000 per month

Job Description

The MEP Engineer will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining mechanical (HVAC), electrical, and plumbing systems for our housing projects. The ideal candidate will ensure all MEP systems are integrated seamlessly in line with project specifications, safety guidelines, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing mechanical (HVAC), electrical, and plumbing layouts as per project needs.
• Overseeing and coordinating installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems on-site.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant local building codes, safety guidelines, and regulations.
• Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and project managers for timely execution.
• Conducting site evaluations, inspections, and troubleshooting for installation or maintenance issues.
• Preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities), specifications, and engineering drawings.
• Recommending energy-saving and sustainable MEP solutions.
• Ensuring timely completion of MEP works within allocated budgets.
• Keeping documentation and records as required for audits and project closeout.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Civil Engineering or a related specialization.
• 4–8 years’ work experience in real estate/housing projects, preferably including project execution phases.
• Proficiency in MEP design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, etc.).
• Strong command over HVAC systems, electrical circuits, plumbing installations, safety norms.
• Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., Indian Building Codes, IS, NBC).
• Excellent problem-solving, team coordination, and communication skills.
• Good documentation ability and project report creation.
• Able to work independently as well as in a cross-functional project environment.
