MEP Engineer

Role Summary: Responsible for planning, design, execution, and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems in line with project requirements, codes, and standards. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems into project designs. Prepare and review MEP design drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings. Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. Perform site inspections to verify quality, progress, and adherence to schedule. Manage subcontractors for MEP works and ensure timely execution. Estimate material quantities, prepare BOQs, and support procurement activities. Conduct testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems. Resolve technical issues related to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing works. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. 3–8 years of experience in MEP works in construction projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, fire-fighting, and plumbing systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office. Strong communication and coordination skills. 2. Job Description – Site EngineerPosition: Site Engineer Key Responsibilities: Supervise on-site activities to ensure quality and safety compliance. Interpret construction drawings and specifications for site execution. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth progress. Maintain daily site reports, progress updates, and quality checklists. Verify material quality and ensure proper storage/handling on-site. Identify and resolve technical or operational issues at the site. Support project manager in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Ensure work completion within timelines and budget. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. 2–5 years of site supervision experience in construction/infrastructure projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations. Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
