Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Consultant with strong multidisciplinary expertise in Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering, specializing in waste management, plumbing, and sewerage systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building projects, providing design, coordination, supervision, and technical advisory services across all MEP disciplines.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Master’s degree or professional certifications will be an added advantage

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in:
• Electrical systems design and supervision
• Mechanical systems (HVAC, fire fighting, utilities)
• Waste management systems
• Plumbing and sewerage system design and implementation
• Minimum 7 years of experience specifically in building projects (residential, commercial, institutional, or mixed-use developments)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end MEP consultancy services for building projects from concept to completion
• Design, review, and approve electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sewerage, and waste management systems
• Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards, and sustainability requirements
• Coordinate MEP designs with architects, structural engineers, and civil teams
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems
• Identify design risks, propose value engineering solutions, and optimize system performance
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control and safety compliance
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, BOQs, and cost estimates
• Provide technical support during construction and post-construction phases

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems for buildings
• Expertise in plumbing, sewerage, and waste management planning
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar)
• Excellent coordination and project management skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and liaise with stakeholders
• Good communication and technical documentation skills

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with sustainable and energy-efficient building systems
• Knowledge of green building standards (LEED, ESTIDAMA, etc.)
• Prior consultancy experience on large-scale building projects
