Job Opportunity: MSW Trainee (Medical Social Work Intern)

Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and proactive MSW Trainee to join our dynamic team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to medical social work, clinic operations, and patient coordination within a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Clinic Visits & Field Coordination

• Conduct patient visits in clinics for follow-up, education, and support.
• Assist with community-based social work activities and outreach services.

2. Clinic Coordination

• Support day-to-day clinic operations.
• Coordinate with reception, pharmacy, nursing, and medical teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Monitor appointment schedules, collect patient feedback, and escalate concerns when necessary.

3. Patient Coordination

• Assist patients with admission, discharge, and referral processes.
• Support patients in understanding treatment plans, medication adherence, and lifestyle changes.
• Build rapport with patients and families to provide emotional and social support.

4. Software & Documentation Support

• Use clinic software to update patient records and follow-up data.
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic documentation.
• Coordinate software entries for billing, prescriptions, and medical records.

5. Computer & Communication Skills

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email communication.
• Capable of handling data entry, document formatting, and report creation.

6. Overall Clinic Management Support

• Assist with stock management, inventory checks, and vendor coordination.
• Support audits, inspections, and operational reviews.
• Act as a point of support for admin tasks, patient feedback, and operational improvements.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: MSW (Medical & Psychiatric Social Work) – Completed
• Skills: Good communication skills in English and the local language
• Knowledge: Basic computer proficiency and interest in healthcare systems
• Attitude: Responsible, proactive, and team-oriented
• Other: Willing to travel for clinic visits if required
