Role Overview :

The Medical Equipment Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and providing user training on equipment usage.


What is the role like:

Additional responsibilities this role will have, are as below:

1. Installation and Commissioning:

  • Set up and configure medical equipment at client sites.
  • Test and validate equipment functionality according to manufacturer guidelines.

2. Maintenance and Repairs:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
  • Repair or replace faulty components and ensure compliance with safety standards.

3. Technical Support:

  • Respond promptly to service requests and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients and healthcare professionals.

4. Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate service records, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and parts inventory.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and company standards.

5. Training and User Education:

  • Conduct training sessions for healthcare staff on the proper use and care of medical equipment.
  • Provide clear and concise user manuals or guidelines as needed.

6. Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure all equipment serviced meets regulatory and safety standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, CE).


Skills do we look for :

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in servicing medical equipment (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of medical devices, electronics, and diagnostic tools.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards for medical equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Traveler at heart as this job will include travelling to pan India Location.
