About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Advertising Sales Manager with proven experience in media houses to lead our ad sales efforts. The ideal candidate should possess deep industry relationships, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for driving revenue growth through strategic advertising solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, pitch, and close advertising deals across multiple platforms (print, digital, television, or radio).
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with agencies, brands, and direct advertisers.
• Understand client needs and propose customized advertising solutions to meet business objectives.
• Drive revenue growth by achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop compelling media proposals.
• Manage end-to-end sales cycle including proposal creation, negotiation, and closure.
• Provide accurate forecasts, reporting, and analysis on sales performance.
• Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in advertising/media sales from reputed media houses.
• Strong network of industry contacts with advertisers and media agencies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• High level of initiative, energy, and motivation to achieve and exceed targets.
• Knowledge of digital advertising, programmatic buying, and multi-platform media solutions is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts effectively.

Preferred Background:

• Candidates from media companies like Times Group, Hindustan Times, Network18, India Today Group, Sun TV, The Hindu, etc.
• Strong understanding of traditional and digital advertising ecosystems.
