Job Description

Media Executive: Key Responsibilities for both print and e-media: Media Outreach: Regularly meet with editors, and media professionals from print and e-media. Build and maintain a media contact database with updated information. Media Coverage Coordination: Coordinate media presence and coverage for organizational events, projects impact or other major achievements. Follow up to ensure coverage is published. Content Support & Follow-Up: Work with the internal communications team to prepare press reports, press invites. Ensure key points, brand, and organizational goals are accurately reflected in the media coverage. Relationship Management: Develop long-term relationships with media personnel to ensure favorable positioning of the organization. Organise media visits to project sites, as required. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, Development Studies or a related field. Strong interpersonal and networking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Confidence in public speaking and presenting information. Ability to travel locally and work flexible hours when needed. Preferred Experience: 1–3 years of experience in media relations, journalism. Award & Online Key Responsibilities: Check & Identify Awards: Regularly search for relevant award opportunities (local, national, and international) aligned with the organization's mission, programs, and achievements. Maintain a database of recurring and one-time awards. Application Management: Understand the eligibility criteria and application requirements of each award. Draft compelling award applications, including narratives, documentation, data, case studies, and testimonials. Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information and evidence. Deadline Management: Track application timelines and ensure all deadlines are met. Maintain a calendar of award submissions, follow-ups, and result announcements. Reporting & Documentation: Archive all submitted applications for future reference. Prepare periodic reports on awards applied, won, or pending. Communication: Liaise with award organizers when needed to clarify application requirements. Coordinate with internal stakeholders for approvals and reviews before submission. Strong written communication and storytelling skills. Excellent research and organizational abilities. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
