Job Title: Mechanical Site Engineer
Project: ONGC Project
Job Location: Ahmedabad
Experience Required: 1 to 4 years
Qualification: B.E. Mechanical / Diploma Mechanical
Roles & Responsibilities
Site Execution
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment, piping, valves, pumps, and related systems.
Review engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical documents before execution.
Monitor daily site work and ensure compliance with ONGC and company standards.
Quality & Safety
Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures and ONGC safety norms.
Conduct inspections and prepare site quality reports.
Support safety protocols, toolbox talks, and permit-to-work processes.
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with project managers, ONGC site officials, contractors, and vendors.
Prepare daily progress reports, material logs, and site documentation.
Assist in material planning and ensure timely availability of resources.
Technical Support
Troubleshoot mechanical issues during installation and commissioning.
Address and resolve design or site-related conflicts.
Support FAT/SAT activities when required.
