Mechanical Sales Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Mechanical Sales Engineer to drive sales of fire safety products including hydrants and extinguishers. The role involves technical consultation, client acquisition, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell fire hydrants, extinguishers, and related products to industrial, commercial, and institutional clients.
  
• Conduct product presentations, technical demonstrations, and site visits.
  
• Identify new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
  
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with contractors, consultants, and safety officers.
  
• Collaborate with technical teams for design, installation, and after-sales support.
  
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales reports.
  
• Stay updated on fire safety codes, industry trends, and competitors.
  

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  
• 25 years of sales experience (Fire Safety/Industrial Equipment preferred).
  
• Strong knowledge of fire hydrants, extinguishers, and safety systems.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  
• Ability to understand technical drawings and standards (IS/UL/FM).
  
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and client-focused.
