Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure proper temperature control for food storage. Facility Management Inspect and maintain the central kitchen's infrastructure, including ventilation, flooring, and lighting. Perform minor carpentry or structural repairs as needed. Compliance and Safety Follow safety procedures and ensure all repairs and maintenance comply with food safety standards, such as HACCP. Conduct regular safety inspections and report any potential hazards or risks. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, completed repairs, and equipment inspections. Communicate effectively with supervisors or senior technicians regarding maintenance updates and unresolved issues. Operational Support Coordinate with the operations team to minimize disruptions during maintenance activities. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to prevent operational downtime. Technical Skills Basic to intermediate knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical repairs, and refrigeration. Ability to use tools and diagnostic equipment effectively. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is a plus.
