1. Position / Designation: Shift Engineer Reporting To: CE / ACE Maintenance Qualification: Diploma in Maintenance / Electrical, or a related engineering field knowledge with 02 Years of experience Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a food production / large organization working experience. Job Summary: The Maintenance Assistant Engineer in FPU & other Sites is responsible for supporting the maintenance and repair of all equipment, ensuring smooth operations, and minimizing downtime. The role involves working closely with the engineering team, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining the efficiency of kitchen systems and equipment. Equipment Maintenance and Repair Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of kitchen machinery, such as ovens, mixers, refrigerators, freezers, and other specialized food processing equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment failures. Support troubleshooting activities for malfunctioning equipment and recommend solutions. Facility Maintenance Ensure the FPU & Other Sites kitchen equipment is in good condition, including plumbing, electrical systems, ventilation, and Cold room/freezer systems. Compliance and Safety Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all kitchen equipment complies with food safety and health regulations. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, reporting any hazards or potential issues. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and inspection registers. Provide timely updates and reports to the Maintenance Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer. Inventory Management Monitor spare parts and tools inventory, ensuring availability for timely repairs. Assist in sourcing and procuring replacement parts when needed. Support FPU and Other Sites Operations Collaborate with kitchen staff to minimize disruptions during repairs and maintenance. Provide technical support and training to kitchen staff on proper equipment use and care. This position is critical to ensuring the efficient operation of the FPU and other sites kitchen and supporting the delivery of high-quality food products. Work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. May involve physical tasks such as lifting heavy equipment or tools. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, to address maintenance needs promptly. Technical Skills Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance and repair. Understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. 2. Position / Designation: Technician (Multi-Skill) Reporting To: CE / ACE Maintenance Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, or related fields are preferred. Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a technical maintenance role, ideally in food production, hospitality, or industrial settings Job Summary: The Technician (Multi-Skill) is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all equipment and systems in a central kitchen by performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks across multiple technical disciplines, such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and refrigeration. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with food safety and health standards. Key Responsibilities Maintenance and Repair Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks for kitchen equipment, such as ovens, freezers, mixers, dishwashers, and grills. Address electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations. Execute preventive maintenance schedules to extend the life of equipment. Multi-Skill Expertise Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including wiring, circuit breakers, and control panels. Handle plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining water supply systems. Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure proper temperature control for food storage. Facility Management Inspect and maintain the central kitchen's infrastructure, including ventilation, flooring, and lighting. Perform minor carpentry or structural repairs as needed. Compliance and Safety Follow safety procedures and ensure all repairs and maintenance comply with food safety standards, such as HACCP. Conduct regular safety inspections and report any potential hazards or risks. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, completed repairs, and equipment inspections. Communicate effectively with supervisors or senior technicians regarding maintenance updates and unresolved issues. Operational Support Coordinate with the operations team to minimize disruptions during maintenance activities. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to prevent operational downtime. Technical Skills Basic to intermediate knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical repairs, and refrigeration. Ability to use tools and diagnostic equipment effectively. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is a plus.
